2000/01/03/12 Iredell Y2K impact summary: ERS wind data was missing from 1999/12/31/18 to 2000/01/03/06; aircraft report counts were low from 2000/01/01/00 to 2000/01/01/18; SSM/I wind data missing from one orbit on 2000/01/01/00; otherwise Y2K had very little impact.
1999/12/28/00 Treadon Communications bugs fixed in SSI. This fix should eliminate the intermittent aborts. This fix became operational in an emergency implementation in time for the FNL at 1999/12/29/12.
1999/12/01/06 Treadon SSI satellite radiance diagnostic file now outputted.
1999/11/01/12 Iredell Parallel was intermittently missing SSM/I data since move from Bowie. The problem is now corrected.

1999/09/02/12 Keyser The aircraft quality control program is corrected. Previously, all conventional aircraft other than those with SDM keep flags were inadvertently rejected. Now the conventional aircraft are used with the proper quality control marks. ACARS reports were not affected.

1999/08/12/12 Iredell More communication bugs fixed in the analysis, perhaps including the "last bug". Forecast model corrected to produce exactly 3-hour forecast and to reflect solar radiation over sea ice. The parallel makes its own prepbufr file now.
