Abstract (including Motivation, Hypothesis and Method)

Due to a bug in the change resolution program, the sea ice data is not being passed to the global analysis in operations. Since the sea ice data is used to reject satellite data, this bug allowed more satellite data to be accepted and used over sea ice. At this time of year, this had the biggest impact around Antarctica. This short experiment fixes the bug and will allow the analysis to properly reject satellite data over sea ice. The impact remains to be seen.
