Abstract (including Motivation, Hypothesis and Method): Horizontal resolution increased to T382 (1152x576 Gaussian grid, about 40 km) to hour 180, with T190 (576x288 Gaussian grid, about 80 km) to hour 384. Vertical resolution is unchanged.
The NOAH Land model and the new sea ice column model are also part of the package. The vertical diffusion is reduced and mountain blocking enhanced.
AIRS radiances are assimilated.
